are you still growing?

i went around asking people if they were growing.

i don't know.
jomin did not understand the question.
xinrui say she is groing mentally and want to grow physically.
teri said no.
syl said she was groing sideways.

i went to ask clayton.
me: are you growing?
clayton: huh?
me:are you growing?mentally or/and physically.
clayton:both...more importantly mentally Jameus, mental growth is more important than physical growth
me: lol
clayton: we got to make sure we are mentally growing..we need to improve ourself daily...everyday is a new day. every new day is a good opportunity to learn new things. whenever your friends say something about what you done last time...you must be able to say this "HaHa, that was my old childish self, i've grown now and i know better now". Remember this "Nothing Changes,but everything keep Changing"have a set of moral values that you feel you want to lead your life by and use it by a guideline
me: oh life moral.
clayton: yes. maybe for example.i go by Integrity and being true to myself. being true to myself that means i will not lie to myself when it comes to making decisions...i will only do what i know it's better for me and the people around me but sometimes certain decision is for the better of a group of others but i may end up being hated...i'll be true to myself and make the right choice. which is the one better for the group of ppl around me for example. scolding the SLs for not being able to ensure that the task of tidiness is carried out.they need to excersise their authority in that way to show their section that they can lead and get things done.They may not like it but it's their job to do so...it's a responsibility given to them...entrusted to them

clayton: it's abit hard to explain...haha, i dont do things for the better sake of me -.-what's the point...i make my life easier as Drum Major but the band suffers in various ways...i rather be hated and things get done ^^not for the sake of getting it done but for the sake of learning from it another thing when learning from everyday life...it's not about getting the job done.it's about the process and every little detail you do now , it's the process to your result in SYF.all the way done from Self-practice
