music as we see it...
we know that Singapore is a country that in growing in arts and music.
but do you know how people feel about going into the music and art society.
some people say that there is no future in here.
some say its for those who cannot study.
but my dad say its good ...
had a talk with my dad when we were walking home form dinner.
He: you have study hard you know?
Me: yup...
He: the school fees are expensive... i have prepared a sum for you...
Me: thanks dad... how do you get a scholarship?
He: you need not get a scholarship.
Me: but it would be better if i can get it and go to like London or Japan.
He: why not be in Singapore?
Me; the society here in Singapore is different form those of Japan and London. the people there are born into the art and music industry. where they understand unlike Singapore where many people thinks that there is no future in art and music industry.
He: yea but Singapore is a growing country. you must know. here's an example: like wine... in the past, i am scared to buy wine. the prices would range from 50 to 60 dollars. but now, it is like 15 16 dollars. you see the economy changes. it the same for the art and music industry. where 7 years down the road, art and music in the society will change. the way people view will be different. you can earn money from there when people understands it.
